Professional Imagery That Builds Trust

Do You Own a Business?

Do you want to showcase your brand in the best possible light? Professional imagery helps tell your story, build trust, and leave a lasting impact on your audience.

In today’s fast-paced digital world, it’s more vital than ever to project a positive, professional and engaging online presence. Whether you’re a one-person business or a national corporation, the imagery you use, tells your story and shapes how your clients perceive you.

Man with a beard sitting on the hood of a gray SUV in a field, looking into the distance.

Long gone are the days of stiff, formal portraits with moody stares. People want to connect with people.

Your clients want to see the face behind the brand, no matter how large or small your company may be. They want to see enthusiastic, approachable, and authentic individuals, supported by a passionate and engaged team.

Storytelling Through Authentic Brand Photography.

This is where my photography excels – creating images that reflect the heart and personality of your business.

What to Expect from your Photoshoot

Commercial photography is about communication with you, the client. All too often, I hear, “I had someone do my business shots, but they just aren’t quite what I wanted.”

The first thing I do before quoting any commercial project is to meet with my client,  either in person, online or on the phone. There is no charge for that meeting, and its sole purpose is to discuss your ideas and vision of how you would like to present your business to the world.

I will guide you on what is realistic and achievable while providing creative input to make your project ideas a reality.  What I won’t do is take over! Commercial photography is about planning, collaboration and teamwork. If you have staff, they need to be comfortable enough to say, “I don’t like that picture of me.” Nobody wants a picture on the internet or on a poster that they don’t like. To achieve this, I show them pictures as I take them so that they can be comfortable and proud of the final result. No picture makes the final cut until everyone is happy.

During the meeting, we will discuss locations, props, time scales, edit times and all other aspects of your shoot. I will, if needed, liaise with your web designer to ensure that images are suitably presented to them for ease of use and graphic design.

Following the meeting, I will present a no-obligation quote via email. There is absolutely no pressure from me. My fee takes into consideration the edit time, travel, etc, and there will never be hidden additional costs.

Once we agree of the shoot, we will plan a day(s) or days for the photography, and once done, I will edit your images and present them to you within the agreed time frame.

It really is that simple!

To discuss your ideas or business image ideas, please feel free to get in touch; I look forward to hearing from you.

Why Your Business Images Matter

Your business imagery is more than just a collection of photographs—it’s the first impression your clients have of you. These images build trust, tell your story, and inspire confidence in your brand. Whether you’re looking to update your website, refresh your social media, or create a professional portfolio, I work with you to ensure every photo captures your unique personality and values.

Russell Davis | Coaching & Cognitive Hypnotherapy

Brief:  I needed new photos as my website was being re-designed, and I shaved my head and grown a beard since the last lot!  I didn’t want the stereotypical photos or headshots; I wanted something that reflected my identity. Mike took the time to understand me, draw out the character, and reflect these in the photos.  I never would have thought of having one with my beloved Land Rover, but that’s why Mike is the expert, not me!  It’s one of my favourites, and people often comment on it.  Recently, two people who didn’t know me looked at my website and made contact because they felt they got a sense of who I was and thought I would be a good match for them.  I believe the photographs are intrinsic to this. Mike made it fun and easy, guiding me every step of the way.

Working With You to Project Your Personality

Everyone has a story to tell and a persona they want to project. Your photos should go beyond the obvious—showcase your individuality, making a strong and memorable first impression.

Take Russell, for example, a therapist based in Cornwall. Instead of the expected images of sombre faces and sofas, we worked together to highlight his personality. As an outdoors enthusiast, Russ is full of energy and warmth. We captured him enjoying his passions—his love of Land Rovers, the countryside, and the sea.

By showcasing the real Russ, we created photos that give his clients an insight into who he is as a person, making him approachable and relatable. This is the type of connection your clients are looking for, too—the human behind the business.
